Cradles of imaginations

I am black so what's wrong with that
At least I can absorb all the pain and suffering
At least I can act to arrest everyone's sadness
If not everyone I can make some one happy
I am black so what's wrong with that
At least I won't let anything bad get past me
At least I can seize all the grief of the world
If not everyone I can make some one hopeful
I am black
I am so black that no sorrow coming my way will escape me
No pain can shake me any further
No suffering can make me sad any further
Instead I would want all the sufferings come to me
I would want everything bad happening to happen to me
At least I can take them all
So that no one else has to suffer
So that no one has to feel the pain anymore
So that no one has to be sad anymore
Something has to burn to enlighten this place, why not me?
Someone has to suffer to make is beautiful place to be, why not me?
Someone has to sacrifice to make others happy, why not me?
Why not me, when no one care about me
Why not me, when I am seen as useless
Why not me, when I am seen someone who can't contribute
Why not me, when I am seen as BLACK

Travelling through a tunnel

A deep breathe or a sigh
The light is in the end and the depth is high
The more we analyze life and realtionships
the more the number of drips and trips
Nature is filled with lot of surreal stories
so why should we spend our life in worries
Enjoy her enigmatic smile in floating leaves and flowing winds
The calm water and noisy wind chimps
White snow on the peaks and running rabbits in the jungly bushes
Colorful rainbow and the vitality in the tiger's ambush
Sounds and silences of the deserts
Respiting the rambling of the Blizzards
Vagabondness of animals and the ossified nature of human
Vivacious of the springs and the vacousness of the new man
Green is the grass ,vast is the sky
The strictures are limitless and the conciousness is at high
Blossoming flowers and sheding leaves
Falling branches and burried trees
Nature is all filled with happiness and griefs ...

My College : My Heaven

My flowers are blooming in the night
The running cars and the bright sight

Floating in the oceans of thoughts
Thinking if I should Dive in or not

Recalled the old memories of college and Jhoops
Feeling as i am still there, but now in morse codes

The AC labs and hustling classes
Mostly bunking them for the masses

The Tech fests and the class rooms
Seems like I am trapped somewhere in those rumbling Noons

The vastness of Oval and Silence of Library
Making me think now if i am living a life full of slavery

Those gilla anda chiks and bun amlates
I am missing them in high tech resturants and in my cafeteria plates

Mess fights and family funda
Seems still flagging like RECD Jhanda

Night outs and DJ shows
Missing Bihari morh and HOD sir's Practical jokes

Ragging , rags , bragging and bags
Party , panga, mess bills and club tags

Music and Ganja ,Daru and diims (In bengali Egg is : Diim)
Once combined , showed us Midnight Sunbeams

Gandhi morh's Chai and Techno's milk shakes
Were the only things that kept us awake

Wing parties and Birthday bumps
Reminding me of Hall nights and boundary jumps

Let me pack up and go back
and live in a life where nothing ever lacks.

Regards,
Aditya Dogra

एक टूटी हुई जंजीर की फरियाद हैं हम और दुनिया ये समझती है कि आजाद हैं हम

India after lots of sacrifice and bloodshed finally regained its independence on 14th August 1947 . Aah , you must be thinking i have written 14th mistakenly than 15th . But i really mean it . It was on the 14th August , India got independence from Pakistan. Otherwise it would have been a big heck for India . Now they are in other country but still create problem for us, Imagine if they are part of india , tab kya haal hota iss desh ka..

Anyways, I found some awesome videos captured somewhere in that timeframe :

In this video , its was shown that on 14th August "A new country" with highest number of muslim population in the world ,had been carved out of India. Also important point to notice in this video was that it declared India was something like a Hindoo nation.
Now i am getting into the nerve of the problem. It was a long policy of Western world to treat india as a hindoo country so that the Islamic powers inside the country feel insecure and then external Islamic fundamentalistics would drive them to wage a war against india .

Here is another video of this time frame :

”Long years ago we made a tryst with destiny, and now the time comes when we shall redeem our pledge, not wholly or in full measure, but very substantially. At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom.
A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new, when an age ends, and when the soul of a nation, long suppressed, finds utterance. It is fitting that at this solemn moment we take the pledge of dedication to the service of India and her people and to the still larger cause of humanity “

India will keep growing with all happening because These western powers and external Islamic fundamentalism can't shake our foundations that are based of love and affection . It reminded me of Actor Feroz Khan , who died last year . May be some of you are aware of the fact that Gen Pervez Musharraf had banned veteran Bollywood actor Feroz Khan from entering Pakistan . Reason was his words :

"India is a secular country," he was quoted by a Pakistani daily as saying. "Muslims there are making a lot of progress. Our President is a Muslim, the PM a Sikh. Pakistan was made in the name of Islam, but look how Muslims are killing each other.

"I have not come here on my own," he added. "I was invited to come. Our films are so powerful that your government could not stop them for long." A member from the Indian delegation who was present at the event confirmed to TOI that Khan had said this in front of an audience numbering about a thousand people. The actor also got into a scuffle at the same function with local compere Fakr Alam regarding a remark the latter made about Manisha Koirala. In another speech, he reportedly abused US President George Bush in public.

Source of the above news : http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/msid-1537827,prtpage-1.cms

Islamic fundamentalists will soon take over in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The US will withdraw from the region, leaving India to bear the brunt of consequences. Terrorism will rise in India, but the economy will still keep growing. How so? Well, 3000 people die every year falling off Mumbai’s suburban trains, and that does not stop Mumbai’s growth.Similarly Terrorism and western forces will bruise India, but not halt its growth.

Old Hindi poem by सूर्यकांत त्रिपाठी निराला

This poem is one of my favorites . Today is 30th Jan and its the day when Nathuram Godse assassinated Mohan Das Karam Chand Gandhi in 1948. In 2005 there was a movie named "Mein ne Gandhi ko nahi mara". I loved that movie very much . It was that movie which recalled my old memories of our Hindi class in school days when we used to hate these poems and the poets . But now I love reading some old poems and with difference dimensions of understanding them . Here is the poem by Nirala ji :

Abandoned Life

Remembering the golden days of my past
Neither the seasons nor the days or nights ever last
Where once the cold waters and the harmony showers
Now turned red with the burning Kesar flowers
Once the mountains with white foam
Looks like the bunkers and the crying Dome
In my eyes kashmir did no wrong
I've loved it for so long
And after all is said and done
It is still my land

Once famous for the love and as Heaven
The politics made it a bone of contention
The crown of India with famous kangri and pashmina
Now has turned into Terrorist Madina
Glimpse eternity of Amarnath and Hazratbal
Now filled with Bombs, guns and Shells
In my eyes kashmir did no wrong
I've loved it for so long
And after all is said and done
It is still my land

Morning Prayers at Sankarachaya and kheer bhawani
Collating the ruins of Martand and many
The echoes of Sufi music and bubbling kehwa of Samovar
Turned into profane and a malevolent war
Apples, phirans ,almonds and saffron
Ignited the massacres, genocides and vandalism did happen
In my eyes kashmir did no wrong
I've loved it for so long
And after all is said and done
It is still my land

The frozen lake and the beautiful shikara's
Burning houses and deserted minara's
Road rash and splendid kashmiriyat
Now filled with Clashes ,rapes and no insaniyat
Time changes everything
But One truth always stays the same
In my eyes kashmir did no wrong
I've loved it for so long
And after all is said and done
It is still my land

I will remember Kashmir
And what fundamentalism put Kashmir through
And in this cruel and lonely world
I found one love and its only you
In my eyes kashmir did no wrong
I've loved it for so long
And after all is said and done
It is still my land
